The BMW 750iL is the car Q Branch hands Bond in Tomorrow Never Dies, and the Paul’s Model Art version is a well-regarded way to keep one on a shelf. The Paul’s Model Art 007 Tomorrow Never Dies BMW is a 750iL casting from the maker, Minichamps’ Paul’s Model Art line, issued as a Bond tie-in.
Owning it now
The model is out of production, and it turns up second-hand: eBay listings describe a boxed BMW 750iL 007 Tomorrow Never Dies in a black box with a gold logo, and an Etsy seller has listed a sealed example. A reviewer on Spencer1984 praises the clean casting and describes a heavy black base with “BMW” near the front wheel and the 007 logo and film title printed on it.
A Facebook post notes that only three 1997 BMW 750iLs were kitted out with gadgets for the film, which is part of why the car is remembered. We would look for a complete boxed model, with the base intact, since that is where the Bond branding sits.
For a different car in model form, the Corgi Aston Martin DB10 is an alternative from a different film. See the film page for more from Pierce Brosnan’s Bond.
