The world of James Bond, considered for a life well lived

About

Life of Bond is a guide to living well, with James Bond as the lens.

For more than sixty years the films have dressed, housed and transported their hero with unusual care. A shirt from Jermyn Street, a dive watch on a mesh bracelet, a grand tourer on an Alpine pass, a dry martini in a hotel bar. We catalogue those things, film by film, and write about each one plainly: what it is, where it appeared, and how it belongs in a considered life today.

We are not a fan site and we are not a review site. We would rather help you own one right thing than five nearly-right ones.

How we work

Every fact is checked against the maker or a reputable retailer, and every film reference is verified rather than assumed. Our opinions are ours and we say so. We never claim to have owned, worn or tested something we haven’t, and every word on the site is our own.

Life of Bond is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Eon Productions, Danjaq, MGM, Amazon or Ian Fleming Publications, nor with the makers whose products appear here. When you buy through our links we may earn a commission; how that works is set out in our affiliate disclosure.
