The limpet mine is one of the film’s simplest gadgets, and Factory Entertainment has made a faithful display piece of it. The Magnetic Limpet Mine from GoldenEye (1995) is the device Pierce Brosnan’s Bond uses to destroy the Antenna Satellite. The replica is made from digital scans of an original prop in the EON Productions archive, numbered, and limited to 500 pieces.
Owning it now
This is a display object, and a heavy one. It is built from ABS plastic and resin with concealed magnets, so it will cling to a steel surface. A miniature piezoelectric speaker supplies the sound, and a sequence of cycling LEDs recreates the lights. One retailer lists it at 33cm and about 2.2kg. It comes in a wooden display box, and each piece is numbered.
Keep it on a shelf or a steel desk edge, away from small children, and with the batteries removed if it will sit unused. It is a replica of the prop only; it is not a working device.
The edition is limited to 500, so availability will not last. The 007 Store listed it for pre-order, shipping winter 2026, and other retailers carry it too.
