Using it now
The cars are made for the slot track, so the set suits a track you already own or a gift for one who does. Scalextric cites the cars’ registrations from the film: BMT 216A on the DB5, which first appeared in Goldfinger, and OV60 GKY on the Range Rover. Mi6-hq’s collecting guide lists magnatraction, a xenon effect and quick-change braids among its specifications, and the cars have see-through windows with driver figures.
Because it was released in 2012 and sold out at the maker, you will be buying from a specialist retailer or the second-hand market, and the button on this page runs an eBay search for the set code. Check the box condition and that both cars are present. Our own preference is to leave it boxed.
