Bondesque Magazine, the Dutch James Bond magazine edited by Merlijn Kuiper, has opened orders for issue 13. It runs to 64 pages, comes in separate Dutch and English editions, and is expected to ship at the end of October 2026.
What is inside
The cover car is the Silver Beast, the Saab 900 Turbo that John Gardner gave Bond in Licence Renewed and two later novels, and it gets a history of its own. Andreas Wisniewski, Necros in The Living Daylights, talks about working with Timothy Dalton and the aeroplane sequence. Another piece explains how the FBI came to keep files on Harry Saltzman, Ian Fleming and Eon Productions around Goldfinger. There is also the weekend Diamonds Are Forever spent filming in Amsterdam in July 1971, Inada Studio’s lost designs from the Die Another Day era, the first Bond video games, and a fan’s snapshot of Fleming’s GoldenEye in 1989.
