Omega has quietly listed a new Seamaster Diver 300M on its own website, named simply James Bond Edition, and the watch trade has spent the last few days working out what it is. Omega has not yet announced anything, so here is what the page confirms and what is still reported.

What Omega’s page confirms

Omega’s US product page carries the reference 210.30.42.20.03.004, a “New” tag, an “Exclusive access” label and the name James Bond Edition. The listed specifications are a stainless steel case 42mm across and 14.23mm thick, a blue aluminium dial, a domed sapphire crystal, 300m of water resistance and a steel bracelet with a foldover clasp. The weight is given as about 157g, and the features include Master Chronometer certification, a helium escape valve and a transparent caseback.

The price shown is US$8,600 at the time of writing, in October 2026. The same page says the watch is “Currently unavailable online” and offers a wish list and a boutique contact. It has no photograph, only a placeholder. A release date has not been given.

What is reported, not confirmed

The Spectre logo appeared in the page. Gear Patrol, Something About Rocks and The Wind-Up each report that the Omega logo briefly turns into the Spectre octopus, and that the graphic also sits in the page’s source code. The first sighting is credited to the @jamesbondlifestyle Instagram account. Gear Patrol considers the leak deliberate; its reading of it is that this is unlikely to be a tie-in with a new film and more likely a stand-alone homage. We would not read more into it than that.

The Casino Royale anniversary link is a theory. Several outlets suggest that a 42mm steel diver with a blue dial points to the 20th anniversary of the film in which Daniel Craig’s Bond first wore a Seamaster. Something About Rocks adds that the film is set to return to cinemas on 5 October, James Bond Day. Omega has not confirmed the connection, and The Wind-Up says plainly that it remains speculation.

The bracelet is also unconfirmed. Omega says steel on steel, and the weight has led some writers to expect a mesh bracelet. Luxury Bazaar names the calibre as 8806 with a 55-hour power reserve; neither appears in the Omega text we could read, so we are not treating them as fact. It also reports a leak of a second, Spectre-themed Diver 300M, reference 210.32.42.20.01.023. We have seen no official sign of that watch.

How it compares

On paper this is close to the James Bond 60th Anniversary Seamaster of 2022 (210.30.42.20.03.002), which Omega’s US site lists at US$9,400. Size and materials look similar, and the new watch is listed at a lower price. Until Omega shows the dial, bezel and caseback, the differences are guesswork.

It also sits alongside, rather than replacing, the titanium watch from Craig’s last film, which is already in our catalogue and can be bought now.

The two are different propositions. The 007 Edition is titanium throughout and tied to a specific film; the new watch is, on Omega’s own evidence, steel with a blue dial and a brief that Omega has not yet explained. Anyone who wants a Bond Seamaster this year does not need to wait for the reveal, but anyone drawn to the blue-dialled look of Casino Royale has a reason to.

What to watch for

The likeliest date for news is 5 October, though that is inference rather than an announcement. We will update this piece, and add the watch to our watches section, once there are official photographs, a confirmed bracelet and a release date. Until then, the sensible course is to read the listing for what it says and leave the rest alone. Every film in the series is on the films page.
