Bond’s trainers in Skyfall are the Adidas Gazelle 2, a suede sneaker in dark indigo with Argentina Blue stripes and white soles. The Adidas Gazelle 2 was part of adidas’s Spring 2011 collection, and the pair on screen has a black heel.

In the film

Daniel Craig’s Bond wears them with his blue training outfit at the shooting range and during the MI6 fitness assessment in Skyfall.

The details

Suede upper. Dark indigo suede on a rubber sole, with light blue stripes.

A long line. The Gazelle went on sale in 1966 and began as a training shoe; adidas describes the current one as a low-profile classic that started as a football shoe.

Wearing it now

The 2011 pair is out of production and found second-hand, which is why the button searches eBay. If you would rather buy new, adidas still sells the Gazelle, so choose among its current pairs in navy or blue suede; they are a different model from the Gazelle 2, and we suggest them in the spirit of the film pair. They sit well with chinos, grey knitwear and a plain jacket. Keep to one colour family and wear them with the sole clean. More in shoes.
