Bond’s bets at the Floating Dragon Casino in Macau are placed with Cartamundi chips, and Cartamundi later sold a poker set built around them. The Cartamundi Skyfall luxury poker set comes in a wooden box with 300 Floating Dragon Macau chips and one deck of cards.
Using it now
This is a set for a home table. It is heavy enough to take seriously and handsome enough to leave out. The box measures 18.5cm wide, 12.6cm high and 10.63cm deep, according to one retailer listing, so it sits easily on a shelf between games. It is recommended for players aged 18 and over. The cards and chips are described as those seen in Skyfall. We would keep it for a regular evening game rather than for display, since chips improve with use.
The set is out of production and found second-hand, so the button below is a search of eBay for it. Check that all 300 chips and the deck are present before paying. For more on the actor at the table, see Daniel Craig’s Bond.
