The AW101 helicopter carries some of the larger moments in Skyfall, and Italeri made a model of it for the film’s release. The Italeri AW101 Skyfall model kit, number 1332, is a 1:72 scale plastic kit made in collaboration with AgustaWestland, Eon Productions and Italeri, and it includes pilots and gunners.
Owning it now
This is a build, not an ornament: you assemble and paint it yourself. A scale kit suits a patient evening or two, and a finished AW101 makes a handsome object for a shelf or a study. Italeri also made a 1:100 die-cast version (48182), a ready-made alternative that is about 8 inches long, but a retailer listing we found shows it out of stock. The kit is the one to look for now.
Modelwereld lists the kit, while another shop’s listing says sale is over, so stock varies. Check the listing before you order.
