Most Bond memorabilia is a prop copy of a prop. This print is something else: a photograph, by Paul Ward, of an Aston Martin DB5 wearing the registration BMT 214A, the plate on the DB5 in GoldenEye. It is a Limited100 edition of 100, hand-signed and numbered, and it makes a restrained way to put the car on a wall.
Owning it now
In GoldenEye (1995), Pierce Brosnan’s Bond drives a DB5 with the plate BMT 214A. That differs from the BMT 216A of the earlier films. The print is a photograph of a DB5 carrying that plate, not a frame from the film, and we class it as inspired by the car rather than a screen image.
Limited100 says an edition is permanently retired once it sells out. Each print is hand-signed and numbered, with a certificate of authenticity and a brushed aluminium decal on the reverse. Sizes run from A3 (297 by 420mm) to A0 and a supersized 1200 by 1700mm, on fine art paper, framed or unframed, and bespoke sizes are possible. At the time of writing, October 2026, the A3 print alone was US$166, and A3 in a wood frame started at US$249.
We would hang it in a hall or a study, framed in plain wood, and not group it with other motoring pictures.
