In Spectre, Hinx drives the Jaguar C-X75 in pursuit of Daniel Craig’s Bond through Rome. Scalextric’s 1:32 version appeared in 2015 in the Spectre set, alongside the Aston Martin DB10. The Scalextric Jaguar C-X75 is the henchman’s car, and we think it the more interesting half of the pair. The film has its own page on our Spectre page.
Owning the Scalextric Jaguar C-X75 now
The car has white LED headlights and red LED tail lights, so it earns its place on a track in a dim room. A neodymium Magnatraction magnet helps hold it to the rails, and it is Digital Plug Ready if you ever convert your layout. You may rarely run it, which is fine. On a shelf or a desk it is a small, well-proportioned object, and our toys and collectibles page has more in the same vein.
Our view: keep the C-X75 with a DB10 and set them up as they met in Rome. The car we link to is listed by a specialist as new and unused, taken from the Spectre set, with its pickup braids, decals and lights present and correct. That makes it a tidy way to buy the car without the whole set.
