The world of James Bond, considered for a life well lived

N.Peal 007 Round Neck Henley in Ivory White (No Time To Die)

A round-neck henley in 15% cashmere and 85% cotton, made by N.Peal in the spirit of the one Daniel Craig’s Bond wore in No Time To Die. It is a quiet, soft layer that works alone in warm weather or under a jacket or knitwear once it cools.

Not everything Daniel Craig’s Bond wears is a suit. In No Time To Die he is also seen in plain, practical clothes, and the henley is among the quietest of them. The N.Peal 007 Henley in ivory white is made in the spirit of that piece: a round-neck knit in cotton and cashmere. It is not a replica, and we would not pretend otherwise. It is a very wearable knit in its own right.

In the film

N.Peal made a 007 collection for No Time To Die, and describes this henley as inspired by the piece Bond wears with the Navy Ribbed Army Sweater, part of his Commando outfit. It is a companion to the film rather than the screen garment itself, so we treat it as a less costly route to the same look. More on the film is on our No Time To Die page.

The details of the N.Peal 007 Henley

Cotton with cashmere. The fabric is 15% cashmere and 85% cotton. With cotton doing most of the work, the knit should feel less delicate than one that is mostly cashmere, while the cashmere softens the surface.

Ivory white. N.Peal calls the colour New Ivory White. Ivory sits between stark white and cream, which tends to sit easily against skin and against darker clothes.

A round neck. The henley shape is a T-shirt with a placket: no collar, no fuss. It is easier to wear than a polo and a good deal more considered than a plain tee.

Wearing it now

This is a top for the days when a jacket is optional. We would wear it on its own with chinos or dark denim in warm weather, and under a navy crew-neck or a field jacket once it cools. Under navy knitwear, it sits closest to the way N.Peal describes the original, which is worn with a navy ribbed sweater. N.Peal also pairs it with its own 007 Combat Pants, which is a fair indication of the intended mood: practical, a little military, nothing shiny.

Which colour? The henley also comes in light grey. We would choose the ivory. It is the lighter and less expected of the two, and we think it looks best against olive, navy and tobacco brown.

Care. Follow the care label, and wash it gently, as you would any knit with cashmere in it.

Where it sits. It is a casual piece, best kept to weekends, travel and evenings in. For tailoring that suits the same man, see our Bond clothing.

Questions

Is this the henley Bond wears in No Time To Die?

Not exactly. N.Peal describes it as inspired by the henley worn with the Navy Ribbed Army Sweater in the film. It is made in the spirit of that piece rather than as a copy of it.

What is the N.Peal 007 Henley made from?

It is 15% cashmere and 85% cotton. The blend is mostly cotton, with the cashmere there to soften the feel.

How much does it cost?

RRP at the time of writing, October 2026, is US$235 on N.Peal’s US site. An earlier report gave a lower launch price of US$195, so check the current figure before you buy.

What colours does it come in?

N.Peal sells the 007 Round Neck Henley in New Ivory White and in Light Grey.
