N.Peal 007 Ribbed Army Sweater: an Owner’s First Look

Your author owns N.Peal’s navy Ribbed Army Sweater from No Time To Die. Here are the box, the 007 tissue and the Merino and cashmere knit, photographed before its first wear. £379 or US$495.

Most of what we write about on Life of Bond is judged from the published details. This one is different. Your author owns the N.Peal 007 Ribbed Army Sweater in navy, the commando sweater Daniel Craig’s Bond wears in the final act of No Time To Die, and the photographs below are our own. It’s still in its box, unworn, so this is an owner’s first look rather than a wear test.

The box

The packaging was incredible, and there is a lot of 007 in it. The outer box is a cream carton that opens to a line drawing of the London skyline across the inside of the lid, with the N.Peal name and “Cashmere since 1936, Burlington Arcade, Mayfair” printed above it.

Inside sits a second, dark grey box with the N.Peal crest, “Est 1936”, the N.Peal name and the 007 gun logo, tied with a black ribbon.

Under the lid, the sweater is wrapped in white tissue printed all over with the 007 logo and closed with a round black 007 seal. You can see the navy rib at the edge of the parcel before you unwrap it.

The sweater

In the hand it feels like a good, solid bit of kit. That fits what N.Peal says it is made of. Despite the cashmere house name on the box, this is not a pure cashmere sweater: N.Peal lists it as a 5 ply blend of 90% superfine Merino wool and 10% cashmere, with canvas patches on the shoulders, elbows and cuffs and a drawcord with metal trims at the neck. The Merino gives it body; the cashmere is there for softness.

According to N.Peal, Bond wears it as he returns to Safin’s island for the closing confrontation, and the company developed it with the film’s costume designer, Suttirat Anne Larlarb. In the film it goes with N.Peal’s 007 Combat Trousers. Our No Time To Die wardrobe guide covers the rest of that outfit.

Price and where to buy it

At the time of writing (October 2026), N.Peal lists the sweater at £379 on its UK site and US$495 on its US site, reference NPG007526. It comes in men’s sizes from XXXS to XXL, and N.Peal’s own size guide suggests women drop two sizes for a slim fit. N.Peal’s care instruction is hand wash.

You can buy the Ribbed Army Sweater from N.Peal, or read the full details on our page for the sweater.

First verdict

On first impressions, this is a solidly made piece, and the packaging makes the most of the 007 licence. The real test is wearing it, and we will come back to it when your author has. If you want the knit from the film’s final act, this is the one N.Peal says Bond wears.
