The Folio Society Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is Ian Fleming’s one book for children, a story about a restored former racing car with magical powers, given a Folio edition with John Burningham’s original illustrations.
In the books
This is not a Bond novel. It is the other Fleming, written for younger readers: the story of a restored former racing car with magical powers. It earns a place here as the work of Bond’s creator, and because the 2020 edition carries a new afterword by Fergus Fleming.
Owning it now
Folio’s page showed the edition as out of stock at the time of writing, with a sign-up for news of future releases.
