The Folio Society Live and Let Die is Ian Fleming’s second Bond novel, bound in blocked cloth that Folio says takes its cue from Bond’s tailoring, boxed in a pictorial slipcase and illustrated by Fay Dalton.
In the books
Bond goes up against Mr Big in a story that runs through New York, Florida and Jamaica, with man-eating sharks and voodoo drums along the way. Folio lists it as the eighth volume of its Bond collection; Dalton supplies a frontispiece and six colour images, plus the slipcase design.
