The most elegant sequence in Die Another Day is a duel in white. At the fictional club Blades, Pierce Brosnan’s Bond and Toby Stephens’s Gustav Graves fence in matching fencing jackets, masks and breeches, and for a few minutes the film is about nothing more than two men and good kit. The Leon Paul fencing uniform is the real-world version of that look, and it is one of the few Bond costumes you can genuinely use.
In the film
Bond and Graves both wear fencing outfits in the sword fight at Blades in Die Another Day. Our catalogue notes say Leon Paul, the London fencing maker, created custom uniforms and masks worn by Brosnan and Stephens, and also supplied a metallic piste and equipment for the scene. Those uniforms were made for the film; they were not a catalogue product, so we cannot point you to an identical one.
The look, and what makes it work
White, plain, close. A fencing jacket is cut close to the body so that nothing catches a blade, and it is white because tradition says so. The result is the cleanest silhouette in sport, with no logos to read and no colour to explain.
The maker. Leon Paul describes itself as the only fencing company run by Olympic fencers, founded in 1921 and making kit in London. One source adds that Bob Anderson always used Leon Paul equipment, which is how the production came to the firm.

The honest caveat. This is the nearest current product to the film kit, not the film kit itself. The screen uniforms were custom, and we have no way to match their exact cut. Treat the Apex as a well-made fencing jacket in the same spirit, and do not expect it to be identical.
