The world of James Bond, considered for a life well lived

Eurocopter Tiger Helicopter (GoldenEye)

Xenia Onatopp steals a Eurocopter Tiger helicopter from the La Fayette in GoldenEye. It is a military attack helicopter, made by Airbus and sold only to governments, so this entry is for reference only and there is nothing to buy or enquire about.

A helicopter is not a product, which is the first thing to say about the Eurocopter Tiger. It is a military attack helicopter built for armies, and it appears in GoldenEye as the aircraft Xenia Onatopp steals. We record it because it is in the film, but there is nothing to put in a basket.

In the film

In GoldenEye (1995), Xenia uses Farrel’s ID card to get aboard the La Fayette and takes the helicopter. A single source names it as the Eurocopter Tiger, so we treat the identification as likely, not certain.

Owning it now

The Eurocopter EC665 Tiger is a four-blade, twin-engine attack helicopter, now an Airbus Helicopters product. Such aircraft are sold to governments, not individuals. If the aircraft is the appeal, the practical routes are a scale model, a civil helicopter flight or an air show. We have not matched a model kit, so we do not recommend one.
