Not every Bond trouser is a dinner suit. For the Scottish chapter of Skyfall, Daniel Craig’s Bond wears brown corduroy, soft and slightly worn, from the British label AllSaints. The AllSaints Corduane Iggy trousers are the pair, and the name is a mouthful for something so plain.
In the film
Bond wears the Corduane Iggy with the Barbour jacket in the Scotland scenes of Skyfall (2012), in the lodge outfit. Bondsuits.com describes them as brown corduroy jeans in a bitter chocolate shade. Our evidence for the exact model is secondary, so we treat it as probable rather than confirmed.
The details
Corduroy, cut as a jean. The Iggy is a slim, five-pocket jean cut. In corduroy it reads as a trouser you can wear outdoors without thinking about it.
A colour that ages well. The shade was a deep brown, which sits comfortably with navy, olive and tweed.
Owning it now
The corduroy originals are out of production and found second-hand; they were reported as no longer available years ago, at about US$115, and the button on this page is an eBay search. The Iggy that AllSaints sells today is a slim fit denim jean in washed black or jet black, and it is a different garment, so we have not linked it. For the lodge look, choose a mid-weight brown or tobacco corduroy in a slim straight cut, and wear it with a navy knit and a waxed jacket. Bond’s own jacket in these scenes is the Barbour Beacon Sports Waxed Jacket.
